Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) Plc is a wholesale bank that was conceived by the Federal Government of Nigeria in collaboration with global development partners to address the major financing challenges facing MSMEs in Nigeria.

As a key advocate for MSMEs, DBN has an overarching responsibility to provide thought leadership on issues relating to sustainable growth for businesses in Nigeria.

One of the key MSME growth segments is Nigeria is the Information and Communication Technology industry, which is an enabler for providing efficient solutions, creating jobs, attracting foreign direct investment and boosting long term economic prosperity.

In view of the significant contribution of the technology industry to Nigeria’s growth, DBN is hosting the first ever Techpreneur Summit to better understand the challenges faced by tech businesses, provide solutions to those problems, and more importantly use this initiative to isolate MSME’s into relevant sector-based clusters whose needs would be addressed by means of capacity building or CSR in the long term.
