The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of the result for the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mock exam which was conducted on June 3.
The mock examination which was earlier scheduled for May 20, 2021, is part of the preparatory exercise that is used to get the candidates ready for the 2021 main UTME examination, which was shifted from June 19, 2021, to July 3, 2021.
This disclosure was made by JAMB’s Head of Media, Dr Fabian Benjamin, through a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja on Wednesday, June 16, 2021.
Benjamin, in the statement, said, “The result of the mock examination conducted on the June 3 is now on our website.

“Candidates can check their results by visiting www.jamb.gov.ng (click on the quick link then log on to e facility to provide registration number to check the result).
“A total of 160,718 candidates indicated interest to sit for the examination but only 62,780 turned out for the mock exercise whose results are now released.”

- It can be recalled that JAMB rescheduled the UTME examination, which was initially planned to hold between June 5 and June 19, to June 19 to July 3 in order to accommodate candidates who, largely due to issues related to the newly introduced pre-requisite of National Identification Number (NIN), could not register for the exam.
- The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the main examinations will hold between June 19 and July 3.
- The examination body also shifted the date for the mock examination from May 20, 2021, to June 3, 2021.

I receive my profile code late,and i really give thanks to jamb for given us more days to finish our registration,but unfortunately for me when I reach the CBT center they ask us to go and finish our registration,am about to do my registration,when they ask for my profile code i called the number for them but the system is saying dat d profile code is not match

Jamb has disclosed that they will start releasing the results once the general examination is over. This is an opportunity for those who didn’t perform well during the exam and are scared of scoring below their cut off mark.
