Just-in: Fresh case of COVID-19 in FCT, as total cases surge to 27

One new case of Coronavirus has been confirmed in Abuja FCT, Nigeria. The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this on her official twitter handle @NCDCgov

One new case of Coronavirus has been confirmed in Abuja FCT, Nigeria. The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this on her official twitter handle @NCDCgov on Sunday morning.

This brings the total figure of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 27.
Of the 27 confirmed cases, 19 are in Lagos state, 4 in Abuja FCT, 2 in Ogun state, 1 in Ekiti and Oyo states respectively.

Two have fully recovered and been discharged, including the Italian index case. No death has been recorded in Nigeria so far.
