The Federal Government has initiated moves to take over the explosion that rocked Abule Ado part of Lagos area from Lagos State Government.

As a fall out of the explosion that rocked Abule Ado area of Lagos on Sunday, March 15, 2020, the Federal Government has initiated moves to take over the area from Lagos State Government.

According to a monitored report from the media, this was disclosed by, Umar Saliu Buntu, the acting Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO) of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA) during a visit on Tuesday, to the site of the explosion, which claimed about 17 lives.

The FHA boss added that FG had since the 1970s acquired the large expanse of land from the Ojo Cantonment to the Trade Fair area.

    You can imagine, if the explosion had not happened the Federal Housing authorities would not have had the intention of securing back the land they claim was originally for the federal government
