Oando leads losers as All Share Index falls sharply

The Nigerian Stock Exchange fell sharply in today’s trading session. The All Share Index shed 1.62% to close at 31,721.76 basis points. Year to date, the index remains in the green, up 0.93% 

Top Gainers and Losers 

Livestock Feeds Plc was the best performing stock today. The stock appreciated by 7.94% to close at N0.68. Union Diagnostics and Clinical Services Plc was next gaining 7.14% to close at N0.30. UAC Properties appreciated by 4.95%, rounding up the top three gainers to close at N191. 

On the flip side, Oando Plc was the worst performing stock today. The stock shed 9.92% to close at N5.90. FCMB was next dropping by 9.78% to close at N2.03. Dangote Flour Plc rounds up the top three losers for the day, falling by 8.79% to close at N10.90.  

Top Trades By Volume 

Guaranty Trust Bank  Plc was the most actively traded stock today. 44.6 million shares valued at N1.6 billion were traded in 314 deals. Sunu Assurances Plc was next with 38.5 million shares valued at N7.7 million traded in 5 deals.

Access Bank Plc rounds up the top three most actively traded with 29.7 million shares valued at N177 million traded in 333 deals.
