Visionscape, Lagosians react over directive to bring back PSP operators

Visionscape Sanitation Solutions, the waste management utility company contracted by the Lagos State Government to provide residential solid waste management collection services across the State, has responded to Lagos State House of Assembly’s statement directing the state government to cancel its operation in the state.

In a series of tweets on the firm’s Twitter handle, Visionscape CEO, John Irvine noted that the firm will continue to discharge its part of the contract with the Lagos State Government.

Residents of the state are angry with the new Cleaner Lagos Initiative managed by Visionscape which has also seen the return of refuse to many streets.

You need to take a drive to Ajao estate. Right from the front of the LOCAL GOVERNMENT to every part of Ajao estate is dead and gone!!! The local government chairman drives on that same road. The house of assembly guy drives on these same roads. What type of people are these??????

@temiokomi @ClassicFM973 Lagos state house of assembly members had to wait this late to act on the Visionscape disaster, should we return them? they kept quiet when they are the ones who can put the governor in check. All the house members must go with their Governor.

While many Lagosians are clamouring for the total cancellation of Visionscape activities, others call for an amicable resolution which will include the reintroduction of the PSP operators into the waste management services.
