Q1 2018 Results: NEM Insurance Plc posts ₦889.9 million pretax profit

NEM Insurance Plc recently released its financial statements for the period ended Q1 March 31st 2018.

Revenue

The company reported Gross Premium Written of ₦5.67 billion for the period ended March 2018 compared to ₦5.19 billion reported for the period ended March 2017. This represents a 9% increase for the comparative period in 2017.

Profit Before Tax

NEM Insurance Plc Profit before tax was ₦889.9 million for the period ended March 2018, a 24% increase from the ₦715.5 million reported for the period ended March 2017.

Profit After Tax

Profit after tax for the period ended March 2018 was ₦752 million compared to ₦605 million reported March 2017. This represented a 24% increase for the comparative period in 2017.
