Dangote Sugar picks Etim Bassey as Acting CFO

The management of Dangote Sugar Refinery has announced the appointment of Mr. Etim Bassey as its Acting Chief Finance Officer.

Etim Bassey has over 26 years experience across professional practice in Audit, Financial and Project Accounting in the private and public sectors in Nigeria. Mr. Bassey is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), an associate Chartered Institute of Taxation, Nigeria, Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments and a member of the Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria. He holds a Masters degree in Corporate Governance from the Leeds Metropolitan University, Leeds, England. In Dangote Group, he has occupied various strategic accounting and finance positions, across various Business Units.

The appointment takes effect from December 13, 2016.
