Under the partnership, Uber Nigeria drivers can carry out maintenance on their cars at a fixed price.  The company had recently gone into partnership with myautogenius an insurance portal as well as Axa Mansard insurance.

How does Uber gain ?  

 Due to the number of cars operating Uber, the ride sharing app may have secured a discount for their cars. Uber drivers would have access to world-class maintenance services, at a reasonable price.  This is important as Uber cars are subject to thorough inspections before and during operations. The car owners are also sure of genuine parts and labour since Germaine is a world-class firm

Germaine also benefits from the partnership as it has access to a steady flow of new customers.  Owners of cars running on Uber are more likely to pay promptly for services to prevent downtime. Vehicle owners are less likely to change their mechanics once they have good service, and may end up recommending the company to colleagues.
