The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), and the organised private sector (OPS) in Nigeria, will hold a Dialogue Session on Nigeria’s International Trade Relations.
The programme is aimed at examining the current status of the nation’s trade policies in line with the developments in the global economy. The session is scheduled to hold this week in Lagos.

The Director General of the LCCI, Mr. Muda Yusuf, said, “This platform will enable stakeholders in the international trade process to deliberate on trade policies of government, their strength and weakness, multilateral and bilateral trade agreement, Economic Community Of West African States (ECOWAS) trade protocols, and how they affect the nation’s international trade relations with other economies,” he explained.
He stressed the importance of the dialogue session, as he said: “As the largest economy in Africa, Nigeria’s international trade relations has far reaching implications, not just for the continent but other parts of the world.”
Seasoned professionals, business leaders in the private sector, members of the diplomatic corps and top public sector officials are expected to attend the session.
