Ashaka Cement Profits Down 39% To N2.7 billion In 2015

Ashaka Cement Plc released its financial results for the year end 31 December 2015. The result showed that revenue dropped by 17.60% from N21 billion in 2014 to N17.4 billion in 2015.

The company reduced operating expenses by 17% from N4 billion in 2014 to N3.3 billion in 2015. Profit before tax however dipped by 38.88% from N5.2 billion to N3.2 billion in 2015, while profit after tax dropped by 39.4% from N4.5 billion to N2.7 billion in 2015.
