This Investor From Poland Will Boost Energy In The Niger Delta

Talks are on between the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and an engineering company from Poland, Em-Bud Studio 2000 on how both will partner towards the development of the Niger Delta.

Acting Managing Director of the NDDC, Ibim Semenitari who was represented at a meeting with the officials from Em-Bud Group by the Director of Public and Private Partnership, Osmond Adiele, said the Niger Delta region was safe for any investor, be it foreign or local.

Adiele noted that the NDDC was constrained by inadequate funds which is why the commission is unable to make the required impact in the area of developing projects.

On his part, Chairman of Em-Bud Group, Emil Musial, stated the reasons for the visit. He said that their interest was to collaborate with the NDDC to develop the energy infrastructure in the region, especially in the area of solar power, as well as investing in projects that would turn waste products into wealth.

Musial explained that the Polish company was not coming to Nigeria to experiment as they had executed similar projects in other developing countries.

In the area of funding, he said his company would attract international funding for developmental projects built around the PPP model which is working very well in other parts of the world.
