EFCC Chairman Ibrahim Larmorde Removed

Reports reaching Nairametrics states that the Presidency has relieved Ibrahim Lamorde of his duty as Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Ibrahim Magu, a top level official of the Economic and Governance Unit of the EFCC, has been elevated to the position of chairman of the commission.

Lamorde was appointed in 2011 as Chairman of the commission by Former President Goodluck Jonathan.
