- Report reaching Nairametrics states that President Muhammadu Buhari has withdrawn the name of Niger State ministerial nominee and immediate past Deputy Governor of Niger State, Ahmed Musa Ibeto.
- President Buhari sent a letter to the Senate President, Sen. Bukola Saraki, notifying him of the withdrawal of Ibeto.
- The letter will be read at the floor of the Senate before screening commence on Wednesday.
