Follow Us on Google Discover- The Committee of Chief Internal Auditors of Banks in Nigeria (CCIABN) has changed its name to become the Association of Chief Audit Executives of Banks in Nigeria (ACAEBIN).
- The group, which doubles as a sub-committee of the Bankers’ Committee of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the decision aligns with current international practice whereby Internal Auditors are addressed as Audit Executives.
- The new name has been duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
- The body further explained in a statement that the main objective of ACAEBIN is to encourage interaction among internal Auditors in the financial industry, as well as fostering and promoting inter-bank cooperation, dispute resolution, ethical standards and professionalism among member organisations.
