The Nigerian All Share Index snapped its winning streak today shedding 0.42% to close at 35.043.44 as most stocks paired gains they made yesterday. It appeared the bulls and bears were looking to neutralise each other before the bears took it. Market breadth (0.83x) favoured decliners as 25 stocks gained against 30 decliners. Volume and value of transactions also weakened by 27.94% and 21.26% respectively.
NSEINS10 and NSEOILG5 topped the performers’ chart, as both indices advanced by 1.11% and 0.41% respectively, while NSEBNK10, NSE30 and NSEFBT10 indices pared by 2.37%, 0.61% and 0.01% accordingly.
