JBERGER led the gainers’ chart with a 10.06% gain, followed by ETERNA, UACN, UBN and AGLEVENT with respective gains of 7.17%, 4.97%, 4.93% and 4.59%. Contrarily, ACADEMY led the losers, shedding 4.50%, while NASCON (-4.02%), OANDO (-3.96%), MANSARD (-3.16%) and FO (-3.09%) followed accordingly.
Contrary to the previous trading day’s outcome, all sector indicators trended south except NSEBNK10 (+1.20%). NSEOILG5 (-0.93%) recorded the highest loss, trailed by NSEINS10 (-0.74%) and NSEFBT10 (-0.30%) in that order.
Market performance during today’s trading remained driven by the banking and consumer goods stocks as most stocks in other sectors traded flat.
