Access Bank Cash Back Promo….Makes No sense

Access Bank is currently running a promo for users of its debit card. Card holders who do multiple withdrawals of a minimum of N5,000 and above from any Access Bank ATM will have a chance to get a cash back of N2,000. According to the bank, 5oo customers will the highest number of withdrawals on Access Bank ATM’s will get N2,000 cash back guaranteed every month. In addition, the customer with the highest number of withdrawals in the month also gets to win an iPad Mini.

Makes Sense?

Provided I do not incur any fees for withdrawing then this is just a recipe for round tripping. All I need to do is withdraw two tranche’s of N10k every day deposit same back the next day for the next three months and get a chance to win N2k back. I checked their facebook page to see if I am missing something but then, most of  the comments/questions relating to the promo hardly mentioned anything about it.

Even at that it is hard to see the incentive in this for the customer let alone the bank. Maybe I am just old fashioned?
