Finally Lil Wayne Is Dropped By Mountain Dew For Offensive Lyrics

LIL WAYNE IS DROPPED BY MOUNTAIN DEW FOR OFFENSIVE LYRICS

Lil Wayne has finally been dropped by Mountain Dew for an offensive rhyme he made when he featured for Future on a song called “Karate Chop. On the song  Wayne rapped, “”beat the p—y up like Emmett Till.” Emmett Till was an African American kid tortured and murdered in 1955 in Mississippi for supposedly whistling at a white woman. This tragic occurence  helped foment the civil rights movement. See more on the  tragedy here.

The family of Till and others felt it was disrespectful to both the deceased teen as well as women and as such asked Lil Wayne’s main sponsor Mountain View to drop him. Mountain Dew has now dropped him accordingly.
