EQUITY ASSURANCE PLC DECEMBER 2011 AUDITED RESULTS

Equity Assurance Plc released its 2011 Auidted Accounts with a loss after tax of N91m. Despite its net operating income of N1.6nillion the company still posted losses as operating expenses took up 63% of operating income at over N1billion and provision for doubtful debts and diminution of asset values reduced it further by N382m and N200m respectively.
