The Lagos State Government has impounded 28 vehicles at Berger bus stop on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway for illegally turning a designated layby into a makeshift garage.
The Lagos State Government has intensified efforts to curb traffic violations and improve safety. In the first half of 2024, 9,370 vehicles were impounded for breaching the Lagos State Transport Sector Reform Law of 2018.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) announced that it impounded 9,370 vehicles for alleged traffic violations between January and June 2024.
