STOLEN CRUDE OIL
Nigerian Navy personnel, stationed at NNS Jubilee in the Ikot Abasi Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom, have reportedly seized a boat carrying about 100,000 litres of crude oil.
The Nigerian Navy’s Forward Operating Base (FOB) in Igbokoda has dismantled nine illegal refining sites and confiscated 20,000 litres of stolen crude oil and 15,000 litres of illegally refined diesel in Obenla, Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The Nigerian Navy intercepted a wooden boat carrying about 100,000 litres of stolen crude oil along the Idiogba-Mahin coastline in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The Federal Government has announced it has recovered 230,000 barrels of stolen crude oil since April 1st, and arrested 85 suspects and 72 boats.
