The UK government has confirmed an extension of its Seasonal Worker Visa Scheme for another five years, enabling farmers and food producers to continue hiring foreign workers on short-term contracts.
The UK government plans to offer 43,000 seasonal worker visas to the horticulture sector and an additional 2,000 to the poultry sector in 2025.
