Global shipping company, Maersk has announced to customers and clients of increase in surcharges beginning from June as it now expects the disruption of trade along the Red Sea to linger into the third quarter of 2024.
Approximately 10% of global trade flow through the Red Sea is currently under threat after shipping giants like A.P. Moller-Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd announced the suspension of sea shipments through the Red Sea.
