A survey conducted by Nairametrics in Lagos, Port Harcourt, an Abuja between April 14 and April 18 has revealed that sachet water, popularly known as pure water, currently sells faster than any other commodity in micro business in Nigeria.
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has sealed two unregistered water-packaging companies operating without approval in Ota, Ogun State. 
NAFDAC has shut down 10 unregistered bakeries and eight table water factories in Bonny Local Government Area to combat the proliferation of fake and unwholesome products in Rivers state.
