PETROL PRICE INCREASE
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has raised the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) to N915 per litre in both Lagos and Abuja.
MRS Oil Nigeria Plc, a key distributor of Dangote Refinery’s petroleum products, has announced a significant hike in the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol.
There are reports that the pump price of petrol has increased to between N930 and N970 per litre in some parts of Lagos and its outskirt as against the former price of N865 per litre.
The Nigeria Employers Consultative Association (NECA) has criticized the recent hike in the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as petrol, by the NNPC Limited, stating that it forces Nigerians to bear the burden of the company's inefficiency.
