NIN-SIM
The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has directed the public to channel all issues related to NIN-SIM linkage and verification to their respective mobile network providers.
According to MTN, the lines that have been fully barred are those of subscribers, who did not submit their NIN and those with more than five lines linked to an unverified NIN.
The increase came after the operators had lost over 6 million subscriptions in January due to the implementation of the NIN-SIM directive of the NCC
