Analysts at CardinalStone have forecast that MTN Nigeria Communications Plc is likely to resume dividend payments in the 2025 financial year, supported by improving operations and strong earnings recovery. 
The Federal High Court Abuja has fixed September 25 for the arraignment of the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO) of MTN Nigeria Communications Plc, Karl Toriola, and others over a case bordering on alleged breach of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission(FCCPC) Act.

MTN Nigeria Communications PLC has formally notified the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) and the investing public of the successful completion of its Series 11 and Series 12 commercial paper issuances, raising a total of N75,183,859,000 (Seventy-five billion, one hundred eighty-three million, eight hundred fifty-nine thousand naira).
