The United Nations Habitat (UN-Habitat) has announced that it is in talks with the European Union to secure a €10 million grant for urban renewal projects in Northern Nigeria, aimed at addressing infrastructure, housing, and service gaps.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved a $500,000 contribution to cover Nigeria’s outstanding obligations to the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) for the 2022–2023 period.
