MAIDUGURI FLOOD

The Federal Government has unveiled plans to build a model veterinary hospital in Borno State to support livestock farmers affected by the recent floods in the region.  
In response to the recent devastating floods in Maiduguri, Borno State, two of President Bola Tinubu’s children, Seyi Tinubu and Yinka Tinubu, in collaboration with the Noella Foundation, their associates, and some private sector partners, mobilised significant humanitarian aid to support those affected.
President Bola Tinubu has graciously donated assorted food items to flood victims in Maiduguri, Borno State, including 100 trailers of milled rice, among other items.
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has ordered the immediate closure of the Gomboru drug market in Maiduguri after floodwaters submerged the area, compromising drugs which were later sun-dried and set for resale. 
In response to the flood disaster in Maiduguri, Borno State, several prominent individuals have stepped forward with substantial donations to aid victims and support recovery efforts. 
Aliko Dangote, Chairman and CEO of Dangote Group, visited Maiduguri to announce a substantial donation aimed at supporting flood relief efforts in Borno State.
