The Director-General of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC), Dr. Jobson Ewalefoh, has stated that Nigeria urgently needs Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) involving both local and foreign investors to address the nation’s $2.3 trillion infrastructure gap.
The Federal Government has said it needs $10 billion in private investment in the power sector, over the next five to 10 years, to achieve 24-hour power supply.
The Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC) has confirmed that construction of the $3.5 billion Bakassi Deep Seaport is set to begin in the near future, signalling a significant advancement for Nigeria's maritime and economic infrastructure.
