The Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association has called on the Central Bank of Nigeria [@cenbank] to shelve its plan to restrict FOREX on milk importation in Nigeria.
@cenbank has revealed that milk importation is not banned as against widespread reports.
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in a circular ‘Inclusion of some imported goods and services on the list of items not valid for forex in the Nigerian forex market.’
CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, has warned companies contravening the apex bank's 41 items forex restriction to immediately desist or face consequences.
