Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) members staged peaceful protests across multiple Nigerian universities on Tuesday, demanding that the Federal Government fully implement long-standing agreements dating back to 2009.  
The Federal Government has disbursed N50 billion to settle outstanding earned allowances owed to academic and non-academic staff in federal universities.
