The latest data released by the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS), has revealed that the number of active bank accounts in Nigeria rose to 320 million in March this year.
The Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS), has revealed that the number of active bank accounts in Nigeria rose to 231.1 million in July 2024.
The number of active bank accounts in Nigeria increased to 151 million in 2022, a 13% growth when compared with 133.5 million active bank accounts recorded in 2021.
Individual accounts represent 92% at 122.3 million while the remaining are corporate accounts
